OIC offers a wide array of products and services tailored fit to the needs of its members – from savings and investments, loans, insurance, to ATM and health services.

OIC strives to be at its best – seeking new innovations and methods to improve the cooperative by capacitating their managers and staff as well as the board of directors and officers in order to ensure that its vision and mission are successfully carried out.

Because of its dedication to its members, OIC amassed top distinctions when it was awarded as one of the most outstanding cooperatives by the Cooperative Development Authority’s Gawad Parangal in 2012, 2013 and again in 2014.

Oro Integrated Cooperative was conceived by Atty. Mordino “Mordz” Cua. He dreamt of a Cooperative that would give economic independence to the community. To make this dream a reality, he banded together 27 individuals and with a modest startup capital of 88 Pesos, formed Oro Credit Union in March 5, 1966. The name was changed to Oro Integrated Cooperative in 1991.

Today, OIC has been able to establish its place in the community. Its assets have reached more than 3.5 Billion (based on December 30, 2017). This was made possible by good governance, judicious management and transparency.

From 28 founders, OIC is now owned by more than 154,000 members distributed in 18 branches across Mindanao and Visayas: 6 in Cagayan de Oro City, 7 in Bukidnon, 2 in Misamis Oriental, 1 in the CARAGA Region, and 2 in Bohol. OIC has also generated a noteworthy gain of ₱170 Million in net surplus – A concrete testament of the community’s trust in the organization.

OIC endeavors to educate its members by capacitating and empowering them through programs such as Financial Literacy Seminars which aims to equip them with knowledge on how to become better financial managers.

OIC also conducts Ownership Meetings and Investment Forums which gives members and prospects an opportunity to invest in high-yielding deposit products such as pension, future funds utilization and more.

All these programs enabled Oro Integrated Cooperative to give its members a dividend of 9.25% for the current year.

The co-op’s success is also reflected by the achievement of its members and its involvement in social programs for its community. Inclusive growth is possible and within reach through Oro Integrated Cooperative.
