It is in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other issuances by the National Privacy Commission.

Educational Background

Government-issued identification details

Specimen signatures

Employment and/or business information

Financial information

Permits, Licenses & Registrations

Transaction details with third-party merchants and companies

CCTV footage for security purposes

Other personal information authorized and mandated by law to be collected

In the case of online or mobile application access to the cooperative’s facilities, non-personal information such as the IP address, operating system, browser type and version, and other machine-related identifiers provided by the member’s device.

Oro Integrated Cooperative collects personal information through, but not limited to, any of the following:

Application Forms: When members fill out forms for membership, loans, or services, either on paper or online.

In-person: When members visit cooperative offices or service centers for transactions or inquiries.

Online Platforms: Automatically when members use our website, mobile apps, or online services (e.g., IP addresses, browsing habits, and device details)

Surveys and Feedback: Through surveys, feedback forms, or questionnaires, whether online or offline.

Customer Service: During communications via phone, email, or in-person with cooperative employees.

Oro Integrated Cooperative will process members’ personal information for the following purposes:

Open, manage, and close member accounts as needed;

Facilitate smooth and effective communication with members;

Review, approve, and manage applications for cooperative services or products requested by members;

Ensure compliance with member identity verification requirements;

Conduct necessary credit and background checks;

Assess members’ eligibility for cooperative services and products;

Analyze member profiles and associated risks;

Provide high-quality support and services to members;

For internal operations such as administration, auditing, risk, and credit management;

Fulfill reporting duties required by law and regulatory authorities.

As a member of the cooperative, you have the following data privacy rights:

1. Right to Be Informed: You have the right to understand how your personal data is collected, used, stored, and shared. We ensure transparency in our data practices.

2. Right to Access: You can request access to the personal information we hold about you and learn how it is being used.

3. Right to Correction: If your personal information is incorrect or incomplete, you can ask us to correct or update it.

4. Right to Erasure or Blocking: You can request that we delete or block your personal data if it is no longer needed, if you withdraw your consent, or if you want to limit its use—unless we are required by law to retain it.

We are committed to protecting your personal information and will retain it as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Your data will be kept for the duration of your membership and for any required legal or regulatory obligations.

If you close your account, we will retain your information only as long as necessary to meet any remaining legal obligations. After this period, or upon your request for deletion, we will securely dispose of your data. This includes physical destruction of records and backup media (e.g., shredding, cut into pieces, or other methods that render the information irretrievable).
